Orca and Grizzly Bears Tour

During this 3 day exciting adventure we will travel with our 43ft passenger vessel to some of the most beautiful remote locations along British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest offering you views of orca and grizzly bears as well as the opportunity to see other magnificent marine and land mammals.

2 nights in our comfortable and safe luxury safari ocean front camp (no grizzlies around) and delicious meals are included in this tour.

Our 43ft steel vessel, the MS Springtide has an outside viewing platform whic Grizzly Bears h offers great opportunities for grizzly bear pics and video shoots and a cabin which keeps our guests comfortable and warm.

Local wildlife:
May and June: Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, bald eagles, otters, dolphins, seals, sea lions and transient Orcas, and hundreds of sea and shore birds.

July-October: Large pods of resident Orcas (killer whales) within the world's famous Johnstone Strait, Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, sea lions, seals, bald eagles.

Native indian history
The area is world famous for it's ancient native sites, villages, petroglyphs and totems. With our vessel we will be able to explore some of these spectacular sites (weather permitting)

Our local Vancouver Island guides are skilled and trained naturalists, with many years guiding experience in West Coast waters. They are also trained in Wilderness First Aid.

Our skippers are coast guard licensed captains with many years experience in West Coast waters.
